    KM mice
    In 1944, Professor Tang Feifan introduced Swiss mice from the Hoffkine Institute in India and bred them at the Central Epidemic Prevention Institute in Kunming, hence the name Kunming mice. In 2011, Spafas (Beijing) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. introduced and bred them from the National Rodent Laboratory Animal Seed Center.
    Features:

    High breeding and survival rates.

    Strong disease resistance and adaptability.

    The incidence of mammary tumors in female rats is 25%. The gene pool is large and the heterozygosity rate is high, resulting in an extremely low spontaneous tumor rate.

    Applications

    Mainly used for pharmacology, toxicology, virology and bacteriology research, as well as biological product efficacy experiments, drug identification and safety evaluation.
